The Dean of FEB UNISMA Officially Releases 2021 International Transfer Credit Students

The Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, The University of Islam Malang, Nur Diana, S.E., M.Si., officially released 16 (sixteen) students to take part in studies at 2 (two) partner Universities (PT Mitra) abroad. The release ceremony, also attended by representatives from PT. Mitra Internasional, was held in a hybrid manner Wednesday morning (10/13/2021). The sixteen students were students who passed the 2021 International Transfer Credit, either owned by the International Credit Transfer Grant organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture. Research and Technology 2021 or independently. At this event, a ceremony for accepting international students from full-time and international credit programs was also held in Thailand, Brunei Darussalam, the Philippines, and Timor Leste.

In her speech, Nur Diana SE, MSi said that the sixteen students passed the International Credit Transfer Grant program in 2021, as many as 6 students to Moscow Russia University and 10 students to UTHM Malaysia independently. "Alhamdulillah, the Islamic University of Malang, in this case, FEB UNISMA, has been trusted again in the 2021 International Credit Transfer Grant Program from the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology. Through this international credit transfer program scheme, 6 students who have passed the selection are currently studying at two overseas partner universities, namely Moscow Russia University, and 10 are looking at Tun Hussein Onn University Malaysia (UTHM) Malaysia, two overseas partners universities." she said.

According to him, this grant has been achieved by FEB UNISMA for 2 consecutive years, and this is an implementation of MBKM and shows extraordinary performance from the leadership, lecturers, and the International Development Division (IDD) FEB UNISMA and international class programs to support the success of student achievements and get trust from foreign universities to participate in the outbound mobility program at FEB UNISMA. Not to forget, at this same event, the Dean of FEB UNISMA appreciated and welcomed 10 international students and participants from the Outbound Mobility Program from Thailand, Brunei Darussalam, Philippines, and Timor Leste. Furthermore, he hopes this program can be implemented well and provide experience in academics, global insights, and foreign cultures that benefit students. In this event, a Forum Group Discussion was also held with the theme Being International Student: Opportunities and Challenges. Several important topics related to the opportunities and challenges that must be faced in developing international programs, such as entrepreneur programs, volunteer programs, etc.
