THE BEST UNISMA FEB STUDENTS WIN AWARDS FROM ADIGIMIN

The Digital Marketing Practitioner Course Bacht I event, which was held for one semester for the collaboration of the Faculty of Economics and Business, the University of  Islam Malang, with the Indonesian Digital Marketing Association led by Dian Martin, has been completed. The school, attended by 700 participants from FEB Unisma Students, started from March to July 2022 with 14 face-to-face meetings fostered by practitioners who are experts in the field of Digital Marketing, with Ketua Adigimind as the Chair of the Teaching Team.

In this series of digital marketing school activities, the aim is to reduce the gap between the competency needs of graduates and industry expectations.In the closing activity of the Digital Practitioner Course Bacht 1, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Bianis, University of Islam Malang, Nur Diana SE, MSi, expressed his gratitude for the implementation of the collaboration with the Digital Marketing Association. Despite the pandemic, various activities can be realized to improve graduates' competence.

This digital marketing education produced the ten best graduates. They were awarded directly by Dian Martin as Chair of the Indonesian Digital Marketing Association (Digimind) at the closing ceremony of the Digital Marketing Practitioner Course Bacht I at the 7th Floor Postgraduate building (Friday, 22-07-2022).The ten best graduates of Digital Marketing education are Moh Ulil Amri, Linda Anita, Mustika Ayu, Ani Ervin Churoida, Anindya Fauziah, Elviana Dwi Firdaus, Djuariyah, Muhammad, Naufal Alim, Muhammad Ramadhan Habibie Mulyana, Muhammad Ali Muhaimin and Syndi Davitian Putra Ramadhan. Three of them explained the presentation of the results obtained from implementing this digital marketing.

"Internet users in Indonesia in early 2021 reached 202.6 million people. This number increased by 15.5%, or 27 million people, compared to last January 2020. This proves how important digitalization and ICT are during the pandemic and supporting various aspects of people's lives. Also, digital marketing activities that can be integrated globally can reach target consumers on all online platforms, through websites, email, SMS and MMS, public media, and software," said Diana.

Diana further confirmed the results of the 2021 World Economics Forum survey entitled The Future Jobs, showing that the Digital Marketing Profession is one of the ten most sought-after professions.

The Dean of FEB UNISMA also hopes that FEB Unisma students, when they graduate to become undergraduates, will not only think about fighting for jobs in the industrial world but must think about opening new jobs to build the nation's economy, especially in the current era, namely the era of digitalization.

"The knowledge and skills you gain during the digital marketing education process and the accumulated experience are valuable provisions to take your life journey forward as a graduate," he added.

To achieve this, according to him, students must be serious and consistent in following the faculty's learning process. According to him, giving birth to outstanding graduates is his responsibility. Diana said

Meanwhile, in the Closing event, the Chairman of the Indonesian Digital Marketing Association, Dian Martin, gave material on Spirit of Motivation and Value Added Skills in Digital Marketing, guided by FEB UNISMA lecturers Harun Alrasyid Ph.D. and Rahmawati SE, MM, MBA.

After closing the Digital Marketing Practitioner Course Bacht 1, the participants will undergo a Digital Marketing competency certification exam in collaboration with FEB UNISMA and the Indonesian Digital Marketing Professional Certification Institute. Passing this certification exam will make students have significant capital in facing competition after graduation.
