Nuzulul Qur'an 1443H, FEB UNISMA Shares with Dhuafa Orphans

The Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic University of Malang commemorates the Nuzulul Quran on the 20th of Ramadan by providing donations to orphans and poor people at the FEB UNISMA Lounge Friday (22/4/2022). As many as 100 orphans and poor people living around Malang Raya attended offline. Some were sent to their respective places.

The event started with an Istighotsah reading and prayer led by Ustadz Drs Yunus Mag from the Ainul Yaqin Mosque. Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic University of Malang, Nur Diana, S.E., M.Sc., gave a speech by expressing his gratitude to the guests who had taken the time to attend the event. Diana gave appreciation to the lecturers, the lecturers' families, and the FEB UNISMA Sharing program, who were able to gather donors to support the success of the event so that it could be distributed to poor orphans.

"Nuzulul Qur'an, which was held by FEB UNISMA as a sign of the revelation of the Quran as a guide for Muslims around the world. As the people of Prophet Muhammad SAW, we must read, study, and practice the Al-Quran daily. One form of its manifestation is that we share activities with others. This activity is important to foster a sense of empathy, compassion for others, and our concern for the surrounding community who can't afford it by setting aside some of the sustenance we receive to become their rights," said Diana.

"With this momentum, we are manifesting our love for others through the provision of compensation. FEB UNISMA will always try to be present amid these orphans and poor people so that they also feel the blessings and joy of this holy month with us. We hope to be able to glue ukhuwah wathaniyah and ukhuwah Islamiyah," she explained

Meanwhile, the committee for this activity, Khalikussabir SE, MM, is also the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Religion. Explained that the distribution of compensation held on campus was representative only. After the event on campus, the team will go to various places to distribute donations and basic necessities, such as to Ampeldento District, Dau District, Dinoyo, etc.
