The Economics, Business, Entrepreneurship Social Sciences International Conference (EBESSIC) 2022 will be held offline and online (zoom) on December 7, 2022. The Faculty of Economics and Business organized this conference,  Universitas  Islam Malang, supported by 42 Cohosts from various domestic and foreign universities. One of the keynote speakers who attended to enliven this activity was Jeroen Rijinberg, CEO NaSu BV Netherlands, who also serves as President and Director of PT Elite Investment Indonesia and Founder of SDI Center Foundation International.

Jeroen, in EBESSIC 2022, examines a Sustainable Business Development Model To Create Economic Growth And Welfare. According to him, traditional business development was created based on unequal opportunities. The knowledge that is consciously transferred is hindered from maintaining power. The world is built on oppression and fear, and financial exploitation leads to modern slavery.

"The legacy of the colonial era has created these boundaries with the strategy of dividing and conquering. This is still seen in the education system teaching us to get a monopoly position in business," he said in front of EBESSIC 2022 participants at Hall K.H Abdurrahman Wahid. Jeroen further explored Porter's Model in Business, which tends to win the competition and gain strength in the supply chain among consumers. He also gave an example that in maintaining and defeating business competition, one can look at the Business Philosophy synonymous with Sun Tzu's Art of War which can be applied in government and multinational company strategies to teach them how to defend and defeat our competitors.
