MBKM PROGRAM, UNISMA FEB BECOME A REFERENCE TO OTHER CAMPUS

To synergize and strengthen the implementation of the Merdeka Merdeka Learning Campus (KMMB) program. So the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of the University of  Islam Malang (UNISMA) received a visit from the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business, Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris Samarinda State Islamic University, and the Faculty of Social and Humanities, Nurul Jadid University. The visit to the two campuses benchmarked good practices for implementing MBKM in the Management, Accounting, and Sharia Banking study program at FEB University of  Islam Malang. During the visit, a limited offline Sharing Session was held, which was held on July 18, 2022, at the FEB Unisma Meeting Room. Dr. H. Moh. Mahrus, S.Ag., M.HI., attended this activity along with the ranks of the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business, State Islamic University of Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris Samarinda and Dr. Tirmidhi and the staff of the Faculty of Social and Humanities, Nurul Jadid University.

This activity was facilitated by FEB UNISMA in the MBKM partner program: Merdeka Learn Campus Merdeka FEB UNISMA. The Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business UNISMA, Nur Diana SE, MSi, emphasized that the MBKM partner program activities are intended to encourage students to gain learning experiences with various additional competencies outside the study program and the campus. "Fulfillment of the study period and load for students can be carried out by 1) participating in the entire learning process in the study program at the tertiary institution according to the study period and load; and 2) participating in the learning process in the study program to fulfill part of the time, and learning load and the rest follow the learning process outside the study program, both universities are obliged to facilitate the implementation of the MBKM," said the Dean of FEB UNISMA.

Nur Diana, SE., M.Si as the Dean of FEB UNISMA welcomed the wishes of these two universities to cooperate with FEB UNISMA in the implementation of MBKM, considering that so far, FEB UNISMA has collaborated a lot with domestic and foreign universities. . Especially in Student Exchange as a form of MBKM implementation. In the two years during the pandemic, this faculty has sent and received university students at home and abroad with various programs.

Diana explained that the pattern for this program could be made through the Ministry of Education and Culture program or the Mandiri program. There are many benefits to running Student Exchange with several university partners, including providing learning experiences, insights, and cultural diversity both nationally and internationally for students.
Diana further explained that the implementation of student exchange in several countries such as Thailand, Russia, the Philippines, Uzbekistan, Taiwan, and Malaysia, where students take several unique courses currently on Current Issues, is in line with the needs of the Industrial Revolution such as Big Data, Digital Marketing, Data Analytical, Digital Business, and internships, etc.Even in Malaysia, most of them take some unique courses that are really needed, for example, new courses according to the needs of Revolution 4.0.

"Before we did an internal test first and then there they were also carried out maybe another test. There are more than 150 students who have attended abroad and have been running for more than three years," said Diana.

At the end of the event, the two universities hope that in the future, there will be cooperation and implementation of MBKM, both lecturer and student exchange programs, which will be carried out by the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business, Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris State Islamic University Samarinda and the Faculty of Social and Humanities, Nurul Jadid University with the Faculty of Economics and Business.
