Improve International Programs, FEB UNISMA Sends 17 Students to 3 countries

The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of the Islamic University of Malang (Unisma) at the beginning of 2022 has again sent 17 of its students to take part in the student exchange program to 3 countries, namely the Philippines, Malaysia, and Thailand. Tireless in carving out achievements. This time, the 17 students were successfully accepted after participating in the selection at Tarlac Agriculture University (TAU) College of Business & Management Philippines (3 students), Universiti Tun Husein Onn Malaysia (13 students), and ICUKT Thailand (1 student) for the Student Exchange program. Students who participate in the student exchange program in the Philippines consist of Arbin Takimpo, Lutfia Fatma Ningrum, and Ghina Kholidayanti. They were the only delegates from a private campus in East Java, and FEB was also the only faculty at Unisma that managed to get 3 students to pass this program.

The acceptance of the 3 students was marked by holding a Welcome Ceremony by the TAU Philippines on Monday (14/2/2022). The event was attended by the President of TAU, Dr. Max P Guillermo; Dean of FEB Unisma, Nur Diana SE MSi; and several leaders of state universities in Indonesia, such as the rector of IPB, ITS, UNESA, and UPN.

In his remarks, Dr. Max P Guillermo admitted that he welcomed the collaboration between various universities. He hopes that this cooperation can continue so that it can create a sustainable global partnership. Meanwhile, Nur Diana SE, MSi, as the Dean of FEB UNISMA welcomed the student exchange program held by TAU Philippines. Diana hopes that in the future, this collaboration will not only be in the form of a student exchange program but will be developed to improve internationalization programs for lecturers and students, as well as institutional strengthening through the implementation of the tri dharma of higher education. This is the second time that FEB UNISMA has participated in the student internationalization program.
