The IDX FEB UNISMA Investment Gallery team held a Savings Village Activities II series by organizing a Capital Market School with the theme "Start Investing Now." This event is a collaboration between IDX Investment Gallery, FACULTY OF ECONOMY AND BUSINESS Unisma, OJK Malang, PT BEI East Java Regional Office, PT Indopremiere Sekuritas, and Candidates for Undergraduate Service in Malang Raya and Kab. The Financial Literacy Improvement Event - Capital Market School with the theme "Start Investing Now" was opened by the Dean of FEB UNISMA. Nur Diana SE, MSi, in his speech, said that the Nabung Saham Village, which was held for 40 days, was a form of the IDX Investment Gallery FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS Unisma, OJK Malang, PT BEI East Java Regional Office, PT Indopremiere Sekuritas and Candidates for Undergraduate Service in Malang Raya and the district. Pasuruan.

"This activity aims to increase financial literacy and inclusion in Indonesia, which is still low, especially experienced by villagers. This activity is significant considering that financial literacy and inclusion and the capital market are still low, leading to rampant fraudulent investments in which many fraudulent activities under the guise of profitable investments mainly spread to rural communities. On the one hand, the village experienced an economic decline during the pandemic. The efforts we can provide are by carrying out community service activities in collaboration with the IDX and the OJK, which can increase the knowledge of investment-literate villagers," said Diana.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the Nabung Saham Village Program Batch II, Irodathul Novianti, said that the Nabung Saham Batch II Village activity this time was attended by 20 villages spread across Malang Raya and Kab. Pasuruan with the hope that this activity can provide value to the village community. As last year, it could only be reached in 6 villages. The Investment Gallery team is spreading widely, running twice as much as last year.

According to him, the Savings Village Program was given material to increase the literacy and knowledge of residents in 20 villages about investment knowledge in the capital market, investment techniques, and investment strategies by competent sources from PT BEI and PT Indopremiere Sekuritas.

The first material delivered by Mr. Ashikin Asha (Senior Trainee of PT Bursa Efek Indonesia East Java Representative Office) conveyed that the prospect of investment education in Malang Raya today can be a solution so as not to avoid fake investments, with the hope that this activity can become a charity. Jariah can be helpful in the village, which is a place of devotion. He also explained investment products, one of which is stocks. Stock investment has many opportunities and risks in it. On the other hand, he also played a video as an educational medium about the importance of investing in the capital market.
