Dr. H.M. Rasuli., SE., Msi., Ak., CA., ACPA (Chairman of the Indonesian Institute of Accountants Riau Region) said that new technological developments would create a new normal/standard/balance (new equilibrium), and technological developments change business: how to fund. In terms of business, many assets will be in the form of technology, resources needed in the industry, the creation and development of new companies, and ways of selling products and services through online marketplaces. Furthermore, the interaction of accountants and technology, namely the use of robotics and data analysis, takes over the essential work carried out by accountants; many large companies have developed this technology because it is supported by the standardization of financial management processes, standardization of system and information architecture, underestimate the accounting profession related to the impact of technology to the work of accountants and competencies that are important for the accounting profession, such as data analysis, information technology development, and leadership skills must be developed.
