A total of 20 students of the Faculty of Economics and Business UNISMA received a competency certificate from the Professional MSDM Professional Certification Institute (LSP-P3) and LSP Business Actors who have a license from the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP), Thursday (25/8).

Harun Al Rasyid, Ph.D., the Head of Certification at FEB UNISMA, explained that this submission was represented by eight students who could attend offline in the Meeting Room of FEB UNISMA.

Currently, FEB is preparing graduates with certificates of competence in their fields to make it easier for them to get specific jobs.

According to him, competency certificates are a very important and strategic topic in the industrial era 4.0, where a person can work professionally, as evidenced by the possession of a competency certificate. Likewise, with lecturers and students, because of that, FEB UNISMA is committed to developing the competence of student lecturers through professional certification.

"In order to improve the quality of graduates, FEB is preparing graduates to have competency certifications in their respective fields in order to facilitate future competition. Competency certificates owned by students are very important as a reference for Certificate Companion Diplomas or SKPI for graduates of the Faculty of Economics and Business UNISMA," said Diana.

"This is an acknowledgment, and we will promote to the industry that graduates of the Faculty of Economics and Business UNISMA have professional competencies recognized by the state through BNSP," he said.

Meanwhile, Dr. Nurul Indah Susanti, Director of the Kadin Institute, said that receiving a competency certificate from BNSP has proven that you have met the expectations of the industrial world. This proves that the curriculum provided by FEB UNISMA in the field of HRD and Entrepreneurship is to industry expectations, seeing in the success of students getting Competent Certificates from BNSP.

The event continued with a Certificate of Competency from BNSP, submitted directly by the Dean of FEB UNISMA, Nur Diana SE, MSi, and the Director of the Kadin Institute, Dr. Nurul Indah Susanti, to participants who were declared competent.
