The Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Islam Malang, held a Focus Group Discussion on Study Program Performance Assessment at the FEB UNISMA Meeting Room on Thursday (19/5/2022). This activity is part of the strategic plan of the Quality Assurance Unit of the Faculty of Economics and Business, the Islamic University of Malang, related to quality development in mapping the availability of quality documents in the Management, Accounting, and Sharia Banking study program. which is in FEB UNISMA with Dr. Wuryan Andayani S.E., M.Si., Akt.

The event was opened by the Dean of FEB UNISMA, Mrs. Nur Diana. In her speech, FEB UNISMA is committed to improving the quality of its study programs. Every semester and year, it is required to prepare performance reports related to tri dharma activities and other supporting activities. “In the FGD that we carry out, it is an annual routine activity to discuss the annual performance plan and evaluate performance achievements within the Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic University of Malang. With this activity, it will be easier for FEB UNISMA to monitor performance achievements or how much later the planned activity will meet the Main Performance Indicators (KPI) accomplishments in each study program. We adopted and broke down the strategic targets in the strategic plan of the Islamic University of Malang. There are several additional performance indicators, especially on governance and infrastructure development, that we will implement in the future” said Diana.

According to him, the determination of performance indicators refers to various indicators and standards that apply to national and international standards. Furthermore, the implementation describes the achievement of the work program in 2021. Still, several programs have not been fully implemented. This performance report is prepared as one of the reference materials for the planning and development of the Study Program in the following year. Diana further said that FEB UNISMA and the study programs under it are committed to making a quality culture so that our academic community will also continue to be better.

Meanwhile, Dr. Wuryan Andayani, S.E., M.Si., Akt. (FEB UB), as a resource person in this FGD, emphasized that the study program's performance assessment has changed along with regulatory developments, demands of the industrial world, professional interests, etc. For example, in evaluating the performance of lecturers who are part of the study program performance assessment, the size is in the tri dharma of higher education, namely education, research, community service, and support," said Wuryan. According to him, the FGD participants are the Quality Assurance Unit (UPM) at the faculty level and the Quality Assurance Group and study programs that always help the Quality Assurance Agency carry out activities, whether in the form of the accreditation process or other activities.
