FEB UNISMA PRESENT PT BANK MANDIRI TBK PRACTITIONERS IN THE SELF DEVELOPMENT ETHICS PROGRAM

Thursday 5 January 2023 In order to equip graduates to be able to adapt to industrial needs, the Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic University of Malang, held a flagship program for self-development ethics education with the theme "Know yourself, Boost Potential, Achieve Achievements" with Dito Birowo, STP., MM as the speaker. Area Head of Bank Mandiri Malang and Aditya Permana, RFS, Cht as the Mandiri Best Facilitator. This activity was opened directly by Nur Diana, SE., M.Si as the Dean of FEB Unisma and was attended by all leaders and Lecturers of FEB Unisma and 700 final year students from the Management, Accounting, and Sharia Banking study programs at the Abdurahman Wahid Hall, Postgraduate Building 7th floor Universitas Islam Malang.

In her remarks, Nur Diana SE, MSI, stated that self-development ethics education is a flagship program of FEB Unisma, which has been going on since 2004 and has developed from year to year according to industry needs. This program is packaged in the form of seminars, workshops, psycho-test exams, and job interview practices, where all the speakers are personality experts and practitioners in the field of Human Resource Development. The material provided is related to things that need to be mastered and prepared in entering the world of work and how to graduate students from FEB Unisma to achieve career success. The material is packaged interestingly, which is very different from learning in the classroom.

Nur Diana continued to say that self-development ethics education is an implementation of career guidance at FEB Unisma, especially in the 4.0 era, which requires graduates to be ready to face all changes and adapt to industry needs. "The output of FEB Unisma graduates is expected to have three characteristics that must be addressed, namely innovation, character, and super smart. So to achieve these three things, FEB Unisma, as one of the faculties that are most in demand by the community, has made various breakthroughs so that its graduates are ready to compete in the industrial world 4.0, including FEB institutions, independent learning curriculum, learning methods and funding directed to education 4.0-based so that our graduates are expected to be able to apply, manage and develop the technology. As a reward for adapting this through self-development ethics education, so that they can be adaptive and do learning by doing all the time."

Dito Birowo, STP., MM, as Area Head of Bank Mandiri Malang, said that in entering the world of work, one must set big goals to achieve success. By developing precise and mature plans, a person will carry out his career passionately and without regrets in old age.

Aditya Permana, RFS, Cht, as the Mandiri Best Facilitator, conveyed that personality is a combination of basic characters formed under five years, with environmental influences. Personality is not formed just like that. Only through the process of ups and downs will a person be able to have a firm heart, build ambition, and achieve success. He continued that there are several positive things from understanding ourselves, including making our souls happier and calmer, understanding our strengths and weaknesses, helping to plan for the future, and improving our communication skills.

As speakers in the Self-Development Ethics Education program, all resource persons are experts who have a lot of experience in the field of Human Resource Development as consultants and trainers in several personal development institutions and companies.
