FEB UNISMA Holds Focus Group Discussion Sociopreneurship and SDGs INVITING Stakeholders

In the context of implementing the Independent Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) program, on Monday (14/3/2022), an FGD was held with the theme The Role of Sociopreneur to Achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This event was attended directly (offline) by Drs. H. Samsul Arifin, M.Sc. as Director of Bumdes Kertaraharja and Village Manager of Sanankerto Kec. TurEn Kab. Malang, Wahju Martini, S.Sos., M.AP as the Motivator of the Young Experts of the Community Empowerment Service of the District of Community and Village Empowerment. Malang, Mrs. Esti Pratiwi, SE. as Village Activists / District Experts. Malang and the Dean of FEB UNISMA, Ms. Nur Diana, SE., M.Sc. The event, which was held offline and online, was attended by the leadership of FEB UNISMA, lecturers, and the MBKM team in the FEB UNISMA environment.
In her speech, Diana said that at this time, we had entered the era of implementing independent learning on an independent campus (MBKM). "There are nine programs run by the Ministry of Education and Culture and thank God FEB UNISMA participated, all starting from the student exchange program by sending our students abroad, now we are deploying them to 5 countries including domestically and then there are programs from overseas students who are currently participating in the program. The inbound mobility tri dharma program, whether it be a one-semester lecture or an internship program," said Diana. Diana explained that the MKBM program would encourage them to keep moving to participate in MBKM programs such as village innovation programs, state defense, internships, and sociopreneurs. "Currently, there is a new curriculum at FEB UNISMA, including the sociopreneur course curriculum. This sociopreneur is in demand not only by our students at home but also by our students abroad. Of course, we have to understand how the sociopreneur practice is running at least close to FEB. Of course, we aim at what is not far from how the sociopreneur practice in Malang Regency is community-based entrepreneurship. Sanankerto", explained Diana. Diana also said that this FGD would provide information to universities about best practices and the weaknesses of the Bumdes running in the village.
"Of course, we will know the best practice from this sociopreneur, especially in Bumdes Kertaraharja, Sanankerto Village. Although successful, of course, some weaknesses will cooperate with universities to manage using the Penta helix concept. How is the governance and government of the Bumdes that will be able to be assisted by the university in supporting the independence of the village," he said. At the end of her speech, Diana hoped that the Tridharma College program would make the village pilot project independent to implement the Pentha helix Model in the development of Sociopreneurs in Malang Regency.
"We hope that there will be a community service program from FEB UNISMA which can later be directed how a pilot project of an independent village with various activities and various business operations can run, including Bumdes," said Diana. The resource persons who attended offline in this FGD also delivered a presentation related to the implementation of sociopreneur. Mr. Samsul Arifin noted that the development of Bumdes does not only focus on profit but also focuses on community welfare and village development. Besides that, the management of Bumdes needs to pay attention to 3 aspects, including 1) organizational governance, 2) administrative governance, and 3) marketing governance. . Mrs. Wahju Martini, who constantly monitors the development of Bumdes, hopes for collaboration with universities to assist in developing Bumdes, especially in Malang Regency. On the other hand, Mrs. Esti Pratiwi conveyed that there must be a synergy between Bumdes and universities to create professional Bumdes governance.
