Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic University of Malang, held the signing of the MoU with PT. Tekno Solusindo Education Division in the field of Higher Education Tridharma. The MOU activity was also expanded with plans for deeper collaboration in various digital business activities and student soft skills development. The signing of this MoU took place on Monday, August 8, 2022, at the FEB UNISMA Meeting Room, FEB UNISMA Building, 1st floor. Present at this activity was the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic University of Malang, Nur Diana SE, MSi, and from PT UTS were present Yulia Kartika, Rianti Adelian, and Muhyiddin SE, MAK, CAP.

In his speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic University of Malang, Nur Diana SE, MSi, said that the era 4.0 and the era of society 5.0 demanded resources that had 4.0 characters in order to support industry needs. Currently, the industrial environment has been mastered by technology, and the accounting needs of a company have reached an increasingly complex stage. In the past, accounting was still conventional, where all input and preparation of journals and financial reports were processed manually. Therefore, the use of computer accounting software becomes more necessary."To maintain the company's performance so that it still has a competitive advantage operationally in improving efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability, the company must be maintained and improved. For this purpose, accounting software has a critical role in helping to decide on the right financial policy by the reality of the company's performance objectively," she said.

Diana further said that to meet these human resource needs, FEB UNISMA has made many breakthroughs by partnering with the industrial world, such as collaborating with PT Ultima Teknika Solusindo, which provides accounting software. This is the second engagement and will be followed up with implementing the "Accurate Accounting" Training of Accounting Software Trainer Batch II (two) for lecturers who will later teach accounting practicum courses.

Diana also revealed that the TOT activity, which will be held for four days or a 48-hour pattern, is carried out to improve the abilities and expertise of FEB UNISMA lecturers so that in the learning process, there can be a transfer of knowledge and skills in the field of Digital Accounting which is felt to meet the demands of the Revolutionary era. Industry 4.0, one of the competencies of graduates of the undergraduate program must be in line with the profile of graduates supported by competence in the technology field.

This is an implementation of the Unisma FEB Curriculum Reshuffle. We hope that implementing the FEB Unisma Cooperation MoU in the context of developing the Tridharma of higher education is critical here, especially in the Accounting study program, because one of the characteristics of the Accounting Study Program is Accounting Digitization. In line with the Independent Campus Policy, the demands of the 4.0 revolution era and how the effects of the Pandemic have on business so that IT plays a significant role in supporting us and our graduates to be able to work efficiently and effectively, "explained Diana.

 

Meanwhile, Yulia Kartika from PT Ultima Teknika Solusindo said that most national companies in Indonesia widely use the Accurate Accounting Software Application. This degree is called Certified Accurate Professional or CAP for short. This CAP is a degree where one can gain knowledge related to Computer Accounting and secondly can become a consultant in the field of accounting system implementation. PT UTS has collaborated with various higher education institutions and companies so that many human resources who have attended education and certification have been recognized by the industry, especially in the accounting and finance industry.

 Furthermore, Yulia emphasized that with the ownership of CAP, she can become a consultant in the field of accounting system implementation. So to facilitate all these processes, accounting tools are needed because the functions of accounting tools are a high level of accuracy, work time efficiency, ease of supervision, and producing real-time reports in a short time.

The event continued with the Training of Trainer Accounting Software "Accurate Accounting"Bacht II (two) for lecturers, which lasted for four days from August 8-12, 2022, and continued with the Competency certification exam on August 15, 2022
