The Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic University of Malang (FEB UNISMA), continuously continues to innovate in producing globally competitive graduates.

Currently, Monday to Wednesday (23-25 May 2022), FEB Unisma and the National ICT BNSP are holding a training and competency test & certification based on the Indonesian National Work Competency Standard (SKKNI) in the field of information and communication technology. In the opening ceremony of this activity, the Dean of FEB UNISMA, Nur Diana, said that the implementation of training and certification based on the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) in the field of technology and communication to improve the competence of human resources in the field of ICT in the national industry in particular and to compete internationally in generally.

"One of the demands of the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0, Society 5.0, Profession and Independent Campus Policy, demands that graduates in economics and business have ICT skills. The industrial world does not always look at academic achievement results, but must be balanced with additional relevant competencies possessed by graduates as evidenced by passing the certification test by a credible institution," she said.

Diana further emphasized that with BNSP standard professional certificates, graduates will be able to gain recognition of competence nationally or internationally. Besides, to increase professional career opportunities and credibility.

The competency and certification test is a national certification facilitation activity held in the form of providing introductory material as a refresher for the topics to be tested and followed by a certification exam. This activity is prioritized for prospective young labor force participants.

Furthermore, the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between FEB UNISMA and the National ICT BNSP and facilitation of national certification on 23 May 2022 and the National ICT BNSP Certification Exam activities on 25 and 31 May 2022 which were attended by 40 participants.
