FEB UNISMA, Together with LSP Tik Indonesia, Delivered Certificate of Competence to Prospective Graduates

The Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic University of Malang, continuously makes various efforts to make the graduates produced globally competitive. In line with the demands of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era and efforts to produce graduates with 4.0 characters so that they can meet the expectations of users and the business environment. Various efforts have been made, including curriculum improvements, improving the quality of lecturers' human resources, increasing cooperation partners with the business and industrial world (DUDI), and so on. The Department of Management has held an Acompetency certification exam, Accounting, Sharia Banking which was held some time ago, precisely on 23-25 ​​May 2022, in the field of Practical Office Advanced with the Professional Certification Institute - Indonesian ICT as a professional certification field in the IT field. From the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP).

After going through the various stages of the competency test, the assessment consisting of prospective graduates and FEB UNISMA educators was declared COMPETENT by the BNSP so that on July 18, 2022, Monday, the Handover of the Hybrid POA Field Competency Certificate was held, attended by representatives of the National ICT LSP Yusril Adrian, S.Kom, M.Kom., the Dean and the leadership of FEB UNISMA and representatives of the participants of the ICT competency certification test from students.

Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic University of Malang, Nur Diana, S.E., M.Sc. say Alhamdulillah, all participants who took part were declared competent, so they were entitled to receive a competency certificate from BNSP, which the National ICT Certification Institute tested. Furthermore, the most important thing is that the implementation of an independent campus must be able to collaborate in the utilization of human resources and increase other resources. Diana said

We congratulate the students and students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, the University of  Islam Malang, who have been declared competent in the Advanced Practical Office Scheme from BNSP (National Professional Certification Agency). We are very proud because, in the era of digital transformation, it is essential what is the meaning of graduates if they are not by the needs of the industry; therefore, technology dominates, and there is MBKM (Merdeka learn independent campus), that graduates must have competence, and Alhamdulillah our expectations are appropriate, this is What we want is that prospective graduates or final students must be competent, meaning that their mastery and work competence in the field of ICT must be recognized by a credible institution, namely BNSP and declared COMPETENT.

In his remarks, the Dean of FEB Unisma, Nur Diana, S.E., M.Si., emphasized that students' academic abilities have received recognition in the form of a bachelor's degree. Still, to recognize work competence in certain professions, it is necessary to acknowledge the state of competency certificates. "Certificates of competence apply in various fields, such as at this time, your competence in the field of mastery of technology has received recognition from BNSP in the form of a competency certificate that you will receive in which you are declared COMPETENT for the field of Practical Office Advance," said Diana.

Diana further explained that the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0 and economic disruption and the dynamics of rapid technological development required human resources with competency standards, as evidenced by competency certificates. Diana said three things must be met: Knowledge, Skills, and Work Attitude. So FEB Unisma bridges this, due to the demands of the industrial world, so that students graduate according to what is desired by the needs of the industrial world; this is what will support a career in the world of work. Human resources who have competency certification are more employable and productive," she explained.Meanwhile, representatives from LSP ICT, Yusriel Adrian, S.Kom., M.Kom, stated that this competency test was the second exam held at Unisma, precisely at FEB UNISMA as a form of implementation of the already well-established cooperation between FEB UNISMA and ICT. Indonesia. This is a form of collaboration to improve the competence of human resources so that they are in line with user expectations, namely in the industrial world in the field of ICT.

The event was continued by submitting the ICT Competency Test Certificate by the National ICT LSP to the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic University of Malang, and continued with the submission of a competent certificate by the Dean to representatives of participants who attended offline and online.
