The Dean of the Faculty of Economics & Business, Islamic University of Malang, Nur Diana SE, MSi, in his speech, said that BNSP Certification is essential in realizing the Indonesian community and professional workforce who are competent in their respective professions so that they are ready to compete in their own country and internationally.

"The existence of the Faculty of Economics and Business, the University of Islam Malang as a higher education institution that has human resources, namely lecturers, will certainly carry out various activities of the tri dharma of higher education, one of which is community service through business assistance activities for Micro and Small Enterprises. For this reason, as a provider of MSME assistants, it is necessary to certify the MSME Facilitator Competence. According to him, the ownership of this Competency certificate will increase the enthusiasm of the lecturers in providing assistance and improving the quality of the MSMEs that are assisted, improving the quality of business, and increasing the competitiveness of cooperatives and micro and small businesses. This competency aims to gain recognition as a competent companion by the public, as a reference to become an MSME mentor," said Diana in her speech.

According to him, the ownership of this Competency certificate will increase the enthusiasm of the lecturers in providing assistance and improving the quality of MSMEs that are assisted, improving the quality of business, and increasing the competitiveness of cooperatives and micro and small businesses. For this reason, FEB UNISMA is committed to improving the capabilities and competencies of micro and small business assistants in providing business development services to micro and small business actors in an optimal, measurable, resilient, independent, and competitive manner through socialization and implementation of the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards for Business companions. Meanwhile, Dr. Nurul Indah Susanti, the Director of the Kadin Institute, who was also present at the handover of the competency certificate, expressed her appreciation for the competent certificates that have been achieved by lecturers and prospective SMEs assistants in need and consultants. "With the receipt of a competency certificate for IKM assistants, lecturers can provide assistance and provide knowledge. According to Harun Alrasyid Ph.D. MIEB, who is a lecturer at FEB UNISMA, stated that this certificate was dedicated to the development of FEB UNISMA in assisting MSMEs nationally.
