FEB UNISMA Holds Welcoming Ceremony, Welcomes 19 TAU Philipines Students in the e-Internship program

The leadership and academic community of FEB Unisma have determined to make FEB UNISMA an international standard faculty. Various collaborations with foreign and domestic partners are also carried out as an effort to encourage the implementation of various international programs.

Today (Thursday, 17 March 2022), FEB UNISMA officially welcomes 19 students from the College of Arts and Sciences, Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), Philippines, to take part in the e-internship program at FEB UNISMA. Also present at this event is Dr. Ma. Theresa B. Nardo is the dean of this faculty. Also present were Rosario Hersey B. Rodriguez as Instructor/Coordinator of A.B. Economics Internship, Francy Cutab as Instructor/Head of A.B. Economics Program, and all students participating in the e-internship program. Also attending was Dr. Imam Wahyudi Karimuallah, SS., M.A., as the Chair of the UNISMA OIA.

 In addition, representatives from the Office of External Linkages and International Affairs of Tarlac Agricultural University also attended this event. This agenda was opened directly by the highest leadership of FEB UNISAM, Mrs. Nur Diana, SE., M.Sc. He also greeted all students. He expressed his pride in the implementation of this agenda. She said, “Internationalization in this era has become mandatory, especially for economics and business students whose output is required to be able to collaborate with various parties, including foreign parties. Therefore, it is an honor for the team and me to partner with the College of Arts and Sciences, Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), Philippines. We welcome you very warmly and happily at FEB UNISMA”.

He added that he hopes that the collaboration that has been carried out can develop in various other aspects such as research, community service, exchange of staff and lecturers, and various other possible programs to collaborate with. The good news, Dr. Ma. Theresa B. Nardo as the dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), Philippines, agreed with the proposal from the dean of FEB UNISMA. So, it is likely that there will be additional collaborations in the next period.

For this period, there are four programs offered by FEB Unisma in the e-internship program: Sociopreneurship, sustainable entrepreneurship, Tax Volunteer program, and youth investment program. Furthermore, there will be the development of programs in accordance with global economic issues, especially those related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
