FEB UNISMA HOLDS A WORKSHOP FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE ROADMAP OF ABDIMAS IN IMPROVING THE COMPETITIVENESS OF THE NATION

Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic University of Malang Holds a Workshop with the theme of Compiling a Roadmap of Community Service in Improving National Competitiveness, with resource persons namely Nur Diana, SE., M.Si as the Dean of FEB UNISMA, and Prof. Dr. H. Salim Basalamah, SE, M.Si as Vice-Chancellor II of the Indonesian Muslim University with the moderator Ita Athia, SE, MM. This activity was attended by all elements of FEB Unisma Lecturers, both Accounting, Management, and Sharia Banking Lecturers. In his speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business,  University of  Islam Malang, Nur Diana, SE., M.Si said that lecturers should follow the existing roadmap in carrying out community service. The community service roadmap or community service roadmap has three critical components that must be interrelated. The three components are first the service activities that have been carried out, then the service activities that will be carried out in this period, and the community service activities in the next period, which will lead a servant to reach his final goal. Thus it is clear that the roadmap will show the relationship between the service activities that have been, are being, and will be carried out by a servant.

"With the preparation of this Community Service Roadmap, we hope that the lecturers in each study program, namely the Management, Accounting, and Sharia Banking Study Programs, have guidelines in doing community service by the vision and mission of the Study Programs, Faculties, and University  of Islam  Malang."

On the other hand, Nur Diana said the resulting roadmap could make lecturers who do community service have a high spirit to do community service and fulfill the rules or provisions in compiling the roadmap so that lecturers or students as servants must obey and submit to norms or rules. In carrying out community service.

Prof. Dr. H. Salim Basalamah, SE, M.Si as Vice-Chancellor II, who also served as Chair of the LPPM Indonesian Muslim University, Makassar, in his presentation explained that in achieving the goal of community service, the role of lecturers is vital to the implementation of the main task of lecturers, namely the Tridharma of Higher Education must If the service is improved. To achieve targets, it is necessary to make basic strategies, policies, and performance indicators to measure success. He gave an example of the description of the villages fostered in community service, the preparation of strategic plans, and downstream to the practice of a roadmap of community service for three years.
